Christmas Break Plans

On Saturday I will be driving to Tampa, Florida. It will be a 13 hour drive without traffic, and we leave at 6a.m. Once we get there we will The 2nd day will be on the ship too so we can just plan and chill. I’m really excited so I am pumped for this DREAM VACATION of Mustachios and I’m getting so happy
depart on a cruise ship. The cruise ship is a Norwegian cruise. On the first day we will be at sea all day to the Bahamas. The 2nd day will be on the ship too so we can just plan and chill. I’m really excited so I am pumped for this DREAM VACATION. The third day we will get rid of our sea legs because we will finally be on land. The fourth day is for exploring and we can also buy stuff at auctions and will have a KARAOKE night. The 5th day could be a pool day, but I’m not sure. Day 6-7 is rush to get ready to leave.

My Open Letter to Lego Company

Dear Lego Company,

I’ll start by introducing myself to you, my name is Benjamin Yan. I have been a HUGE fan of Lego for many years. I love the minifigures in Star wars Lego series particularly.  I was really disappointed when you made the entirely new clone trooper version to replace the older version variations. And for those of you who don’t know what a Lego is, Legos are basically just molded colored solid plastic toys.

You may wonder why I like older version of clone troopers so much.  I enjoy to paint clone troopers with bright colors with interesting details.  I like the ones with a slit in the helmet for eyes and a plain head (see figure 1). As you can tell that the older version of clone troopers had less things on the helmet to paint on.

                                  

I used to have one of the oldest version of clone trooper when I was little. At that time I didn’t know how to customize clone troopers and painted it completely silver. That silver clone trooper is still somewhere in my Lego collection too.

My main complaint is that Lego stopped selling the older versions of Lego clone troopers to the public (like the stores at the mall and local Lego shops). Now the old clones are really hard to find except at online stores (Ebay, Amazon, etc).

  

The resolution to my complaints is that the Lego Company should start selling the old versions at Lego shops again. Those new clone troopers just look weird to me. Also the new ones are a bit harder to custom with. There are also more people like me, who want the old versions back on the shelves.
